Moving Day!
We've officially moved into our brand-new building! It's been a whirlwind, but we're so grateful for everyone who came together to make it happen. We're excited to use this new facility to spread God's word.
I wish I had taken before pictures of my classroom to show the amazing blank wall space. We're thrilled about the teaching possibilities it offers!
We started by planning furniture arrangements and the placement of our soon-to-arrive magnetic dry-erase board. Then came the fun part!
I put up my timeline first because it's an invaluable teaching tool that helps students visualize events in order. I spent a year searching for the perfect timeline and ended up combining elements from two different ones and adding my own text. You can find similar timelines at Bible Class Workshop and Shaping Hearts for God. Each piece is backed on poster board and laminated.
Each panel is hung with Command velcro strips. I've just recently discovered these and they are wonderfully easy to attach without hurting your walls. The velcro also allow a little wiggle room to make some minor adjustments to make sure each panel is completely level and straight. Watch for our tutorial on how we did our bulletin boards!
